Details About Entrance

• Applicants must visit the UG Admissions Portal for all news and updates regarding Entrance test centres and generation of Admit Card.
• All applicants must take a print out of the Admit Card, when made available, and carry it with them when reporting to the Entrance Test Centre. The quality of the Admit Card should be of print quality adequate for verification.
• The applicant shall carry also an identity card bearing the applicant‘s photograph for verification (Aadhar Card, Driving License, PAN Card, Voter Identity Card, Passport or College Identity Card, a copy of which has been uploaded with the application form).
• The University is not responsible in case an applicant has opted for more than one course for which admission is based on entrance tests and there is a clash of date/time in the entrance test schedule.

What next after completing the online registration ?

After you are done with the registration, the next comes,

• The next, you’ll have to wait for the cut off lists to be released. They will always fluctuate by days or hours so keep a track.
• You get 3 days to visit the college you wish to apply to and complete the admission formalities.
• You’ll have to carry the originals as well as photocopies of all your documents of higher secondary along with your passport sized photographs, a pen, a blank cheque, your account details and patience to wait at the windows in queues, along with you when you visit the colleges.

What all should you carry while visiting the college you have selected from the cut off list?

You get a total of three days to visit the college of your choice as per the cut off list and complete the formalities.You must carry a folder that contains the following :

• A pen
• Passport sized photographs ( 10 or more in no.)
• Originals as well as photocopies of all your documents; ( 10th marksheet, 12th marksheet, character certificate, migration certificate, blank cheque of you account)
• A mini stapler and a small fevicol/a fevistick
• Aadhaar card and its photocopy
• A printout of the registration form containing the registration no. and other registration details
• And those with reservations (SC,ST,OBC,etc.), must bring their respective certificates. And those from OBC must renew their certificates before bringing them (not older than 6 months).
• Patience, is must!

Instructions for appearing in the Entrance Examination

• The test consists of 50/100 questions (as applicable).
• Duration of the test time – 2 hours
• You can login by entering Roll No., PIN and Password. The PIN format is your date of birth in format of YYYYMMDD. The password for the candidate will be announced by the Invigilator.
• The questions and answer options will be displayed in English language.
• Each question carries 4 (Four) mark and each question has only one correct answer as an option.
• There will be NEGATIVE MARKING for wrong answer. Each correct answer shall be awarded 4 marks, while one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

• For online BSc applications, the application fee is Rs 750.If you pay by DD, the application fee has to be sent along with a printed Payment Advice generated through the application form. Instructions are provided as part of the application form.
• For online MSc/PhD applications, there are four categories of subjects
  • Category 1: MSc and/or PhD Mathematics
  • Category 2: MSc and/or PhD Computer Science
  • Category 3: MSc Data Science
  • Category 4: PhD Physics
  If you apply in a single category, the application fee is Rs 750. If you apply in more than one cateory, the fee is Rs 900.
